About your artwork - print care and product information
Unpacking your artwork

The majority of items available for purchase will be sent rolled in a sturdy protective postal tube.

Your prints may be further protected within with items like tissue paper and your package may also contain additional paper products such as certificates and artist cards.

Please see the frequently asked questions page for more details about what might be included with your artwork.

Tubes should be unsealed with care in order not to damage the paper items inside, and it is best to remove the contents by hand onto a clean flat surface to avoid accidental tears or scuffing.

Print surfaces should be handled with care to avoid the small possibility of fingerprint transfer. Ensure that you cover prints to protect them from dust if you intend to store them to frame at a later date.

Your artwork will not usually have been rolled tightly or for an extended period of time, so after unpacking, leaving prints on a flat surface for a short duration should be sufficient to flatten out any paper curve.

Print quality & care

Currently, all Ann's fine art prints are manufactured using heavyweight paper and long lasting UV archival ink.
Treated with care, your artwork can potentially last a lifetime, but in order to ensure maximum colour saturation and clarity is maintained for the longest period possible, it is important to protect your print from prolonged direct sunlight.

Heat and UV rays can damage even high quality printed products.

For maximum preservation purposes, especially regarding protection of value of your limited edition art prints, we recommend considering UV resistant anti-reflection glass when framing.
